29 Days Without An Ad-Credited Booked Call

Account review and full funnel walk for DoctorFit Coaching. Windows: last 7 days (14 to 20 Oct), since the 11 Oct relaunch, last 30 days (21 Sep to 20 Oct) and lifetime of the current campaigns (since 11 Aug). Judged on booked calls, not on clicks or opt-ins. Pulled 21 Oct 2026.

The one-line answer

Meta has not credited a single booked call to the ads since 21 September. Since then $1,958 has gone out for 13 opt-ins and 0 credited calls, against a target of $80 to $170 a call. Two things explain most of it. First, the one live ad set is still aimed at a "Lead" event the website never sends (0 in 30 days), so Meta is guessing. This was flagged on 11 October and has not changed. Second, the only ad that ever booked calls near target (PAIN, $220 a call) is still switched off. There is one piece of good news: the website itself logged about 5 bookings since 7 October. Meta could not tie any of them to an ad, so some may well be ad-driven. Checking those 5 names in the calendar is the fastest way to know the true cost per call.

Opt-in cost is actually improving: $81 each in the last week, the best since September. The problem is that none of those opt-ins has turned into a call Meta can see. Frequency is low (1.2 to 1.8), so this is not tired creative.

02

Where it fell off

All 3 ad-credited calls came in one week, 15 to 21 September, while the PAIN and PROOF image ads were running. The PAIN ad was switched off on 17 September. From late September the budget moved to the VSL video ads, and credited bookings stopped. Spend did not stop: about $350 to $600 a week has gone out every week since.

The funnel drop-off

Last 30 days, ad traffic only. Clicks and page loads are healthy. Fewer than 1 in 10 page visitors opt in, and only 1 of the 15 ad opt-ins has a booking Meta can see.

Across all traffic, the website pixel received about 28 opt-ins and about 5 bookings in 30 days (each event arrives twice, once from the browser and once from the server, so the raw counts of 57 and 9 are halved here). That is an 18% opt-in to booking rate site-wide, which is healthy. So bookings are happening. What is unclear is how many came from the ads.

The funnel, walked step by step

Every live ad points to doctorfitcoaching.com/start. I loaded each step on a phone-sized screen today, opened the sign-up pop-up, picked a calendar slot to see the booking form, and read the tracking code. I did not submit anything, so no test leads or bookings went into the CRM. Several fixes from the 11 and 20 October reviews have gone in since; they are marked as fixed below.

Step 1 · Landing page
doctorfitcoaching.com/start
IMPROVED
9.1% opt in
1New headline: "For the Physicians Who Have Spent Years Helping Everyone Except Themselves". Sub-headline now says "free 20-minute training" and names the Adaptive Metabolic Recovery Protocol.
2"Watch the Training" opens a pop-up asking for full name and email only. Button: "Send Me the Training".
3Opt-in sends SubmitApplication to Meta. The page sends no Lead event.
Still leaking: no physician results on the page, only the "Trusted by 100+" photo strip. The named case study (Dr. Christopher Statile) and the 24 testimonials still sit on the thank-you page, after booking. The coach-free-until-goal guarantee and the 10 slots a month are not on the page. The pop-up fields and button render in Times New Roman, which looks broken next to the rest of the page.
Fixed since 11 Oct: "Who's" typo gone, "15 minutes" now reads "20-minute", the "Are you a physician?" free-text question removed from the pop-up, and Occupational Metabolic Dysfunction now named on the page. Loads in 0.4s, no sideways scroll on mobile.
Step 2 · Training + calendar
doctorfitcoaching.com/bookcall
FIX
Booking form
1"Free Video Reveals The #1 Reason High-Performing Physicians Can't Lose Weight", then the 20-minute VSL.
2Calendar for the Metabolic Recovery Consult. Only 6 days open (22 to 27 Oct), 30-minute slot steps.
3Picking a slot opens a 12-field form: name, email, phone, profession, then 8 qualifying questions.
Leak: the ads say "Weight Loss for Physicians" and the page headline says "Can't Lose Weight", but the form's "biggest goal" question offers energy, getting off medication, building muscle or "all of the above". There is no weight-loss option. This page still says "15-Minute Video" twice, while /start says 20 minutes and the video runs 19:58.
Ruled out: the calendar and form both render on a phone, and slots show in the visitor's own time zone.
Step 3 · Booked page
doctorfitcoaching.com/thankyou
WEAK TRACKING
Schedule fires
1Booking confirmation, prep list, then the physician testimonials and the Dr. Statile case study.
2The page fires Schedule to pixel 265803686152477 as soon as it loads, and a server copy is also sent.
Weak spot: the browser Schedule event carries no email and no event ID, and it fires on any visit to the page, not on the booking itself. That is the most likely reason the 5 recent bookings were not tied to any ad.
Ruled out: the pixel is not broken. Schedule and SubmitApplication both arrive. Meta reports them under "conversions", not "actions".

Only two ads have ever booked a credited call: PAIN (2 calls, $220 each) and WL PROOF (1 call, $785). Every VSL video ad together has spent $1,207 for 7 opt-ins and 0 credited calls. Inside the live ad set, B Clinical Term is doing the work: 5 of the 6 opt-ins, at $77 each.

Top 5 things to do now

Re-aim the live ad set at an event the website actually sends

The only live ad set is told to find "Lead" conversions. The website has sent 0 Lead events in 30 days. It sends SubmitApplication on opt-in and Schedule on booking. With nothing to learn from, Meta is guessing, and CPM has climbed to $176 this week. Duplicate the ad set with the goal set to SubmitApplication, keep B Clinical Term in it, and turn off the old one. This was fix #1 on 11 October and is still open.

Effort LowImpact HighestStops $50/day of blind spend

Find out who the 5 recent bookings were

The website logged bookings on 7, 11, 12 (two) and 20 October. Meta tied none to an ad. Check those names in the calendar: did they come from an ad, the email follow-up, or somewhere else? If 3 or more came from ads, the real cost per call since 11 October is about $240, not "infinite", and the plan below changes. Then make the Schedule event fire from the booking itself, with the email and one event ID, so Meta can match future bookings.

Effort LowImpact HighGives the true cost per call

Bring back the PAIN image ad

PAIN is still the only ad that has booked calls near target: 2 calls on $441, or $220 each. It has been off since 17 September. Relaunch it as a fresh ad in its own ad set at $50 a day, aimed at SubmitApplication, next to B Clinical Term. That keeps the total at about $100 a day. Judge both on booked calls after 7 days.

Effort LowImpact HighAt $220 a call: 2 to 3 calls a week

Add "Lose weight" to the booking form and fix the video length

The ads sell weight loss. The booking form's "biggest goal" question does not offer it, so a doctor who clicked a weight-loss ad has to pick something that does not fit, right at the moment of booking. Add "Lose weight" as the first option. Change "15-Minute Video" to "20-Minute" on /bookcall (twice) so it matches /start. Then move 3 short physician quotes, including Dr. Statile, onto /start above the first button and beside the calendar.

Effort LowImpact HighLifts opt-in and booking rate

Fix the duplicate ad copy and clear the clutter

C Tried Everything is running with A Hypocrite's exact text and headline, so the two ads are not testing two angles. C has spent $399 with 0 opt-ins: cut it. Turn off the empty DCO ad set and delete the disapproved v1 DCO ad so the account stops showing "Rejected". Fix the pop-up font while someone is in the page builder.
